2009 Food Safety Workshop

Clearwater Canyon Cellars

November 5, 2009

Lewiston, Idaho

Clearwater Canyon Cellars was started in 2002 with the dream of creating fine wine from future vineyards on the slopes of the Clearwater River. In 2004 as local vineyards were maturing, they crushed grapes from Horse Heaven Hills AVA in Washington. In 2005 they were able to present a vineyard select Merlot from grapes grown in the Clearwater Valley and now 85% of their production comes from local vineyards. Their goal is to use all local fruit and with each vintage they use an increasing percentage of locally grown grapes.
