2009 Food Safety Workshops

Spokane's Family Farm

October 16, 2009

Spokane, Washington

Spokane’s Family Farm prides itself on high quality, local, safe, and nutritious milk produced in their clean and humane facility just 13 miles west of Spokane. Spokane’s Family Farm utilizes renewable agriculture practices for benefits to both man and animals as well as saving energy and creating a smaller carbon footprint. Cows at Spokane’s Family Farm are part of a 3 generation practice, which includes top genetics, clean and humane treatment, nutritious and natural feed, and low stress management. Their milk is “minimally” process using low temperature pasteurization that heats the milk to 145 degrees then cools it very quickly, killing the disease producing bacteria, and leaving much of the good bacteria that makes milk “live” and healthy.
