Increase Your Farm Direct Marketing Skills

Asotin County Family Aquatic Center in Clarkston, WA

Rural Roots, University of Idaho Extension and the USDA Risk Management Agency will host a two-day workshop that covers:

  1. Direct Marketing Strategies for Farmers and Ranchers including: selling at farmers’ markets, through CSAs, on-line, to restaurants, grocers and more!
  2. Planning for Profit (how to make sure your making money!)
  3. How to develop and deliver a clear message that conveys the value of your farm or ranch products
  4. How to tell if your products and/or services will sell
  5. Tips for improving sales and setting

If you are a farmer or rancher looking to start direct marketing or are exploring a new marketing outlet or you are wanting to increase your existing direct market sales, this workshop is for you!

This workshop is designed for producers in North Central Idaho, Southeast
Washington and Northeast Oregon.** Cost of the workshop is $35 for both days and includes an excellent educational resource packet (valued at over $30) and lunch and refreshments both days.
