Times are changing! As you expand the activities of your farm, you need to know how to protect yourself and your business. You should attend this workshop if you:

 

• Give farm tours on your land.
• Have or are hiring employees, volunteers or apprentices.
• Process your farm product to sell it as value-added.
• Hand out samples to customers.
• Have visitors come to your farm.
• Wonder how to pick a good insurance agent for your farm.

Cost

$15 per participant

Workshop fee of $15 includes a comprehensive resource packet, the new 120-page 2008 Protecting Your Farm and Ranch Assets: A Guide for Direct Farm Marketers, and refreshments (lunch is on-your own). Registration by credit card is available through the Rural Roots website or you can mail a check or money order for $15 directly to Rural Roots.
